You decide the first order of business is to get cleaned up after last night’s…indiscretions. Within moments you and are sharing the warm stream of water. watches you as you use a small sponge and soap to clean yourself off. As you rinse the soap off, you hand the sponge to her. After a moment of thinking and fumbling, she quickly works out a system combining the use of the water, sponge, and her tongue to make sure she is clean and ready for the day. You can’t help but smile, thinking that she is the perfect blend of animal and human.
Once the two of you finish bathing, you turn off the water and step out of the shower to get a couple of towels. steps out behind you and immediately goes over to the sink, leaning over it a bit to brace herself as she shakes herself off, splashing you, the sink, and the rest of the bathroom with water. She smiles contently, then turns to you to say something and notices you standing there, wetter than before, holding two damp towels. “I’m sorry, , I didn’t mean to…” You smile at her as you drop the towels and hold up a hand to stop her. Then, with a playfulness creeping into your smile, you duplicate her motions, shaking yourself off as well. Her warm laughter fills the room as you pull out two dry towels and hand her one of them.
Once the two of you are dry, you quickly brush your hair. Again, you notice her watching you, so you offer the brush to her. She looks at it, mulls the situation over for a moment, then uses the brush, her paws, and her tongue to groom herself. While you would love nothing more than to spend all day marveling at ’s grace and intelligence, you reluctantly tear your thoughts away, regretting that you have no time right now to study this gorgeous phenomena. It’s time for lesson one of the human world.
As you dress in a t-shirt, jeans, and boxers, you rummage through your clothes until you find a larger t-shirt and pair of boxers. Then you look at apologetically. “I don’t have much for you to wear, but we’ll get you some clothes today.”
looks at you sadly. “I…have to wear garments?”
You set the clothes down on your nearby desk so you can take one of her paws tenderly in your hands. “, to me you are perfect just the way you are, and when the two of us are alone, I want you to wear what makes you comfortable, even if it’s nothing at all. But sadly not everyone thinks that way. As of now you are one of a kind in a human world, and we have to make a few concessions in public because not everyone will see you the way I do.”
smiles softly and bravely at you as she leans towards you and lightly licks your cheek. “Then I shall wear these garments for you.” With a little bit of juggling and a pair of scissors, you are able to modify the clothes to accommodate ’s tail and breasts. Once she is dresses, you smile at her and pull her close to you, kissing her nose softly. Then, hand in paw, the two of you walk to the conference room as you both plan how the meeting will go. |
