It's not hard being above 30 and an active hero when you're a god. Physically Pan seems to be a supernaturally handsome man of greek decent in his low to mid 30's with small horns growing from his hairline and goat-like hairy legs.
By mechanisms currently unknown, Pan has somehow come into our time- if only with a fraction of his power. While in Ancient Greece he was known as the God of Nature, Lust, Virility, and Sheperds and while his powers have been toned down and altered they still seem to carry this theme. The most notable powers include immortality, immunity to all known diseases and poisons, the ability to communicate with all living things, plant manipulation, healing others by touch to the point that lost limbs regrow and the very recently dead can be resurrected, the ability to cause intense but temporary feelings of lust or love, and the ability to amplify the powers of others.
A controversial figure in the world of superheroics to say the least, many christain conservative metas refuse to work with him, often considering him a villain and attacking on sight. More then a few politicians have gone as far as to say that if it was possible to kill him then he should be killed. Despite this, Pan seems to have become a kind and loving god over the years, caring little for political disputes as he heals the wounded and protects nature. The fact that his sex drive is nothing short of volcanic is frowned upon in the meta community, but since he sticks to consenting partners of at least 18 years of age it's considered harmless if annoying. He has been accused of using his ability to inspire intense lust to get laid, an accusation he denies as insulting- insisting that he finds such situations "creepy" and that he certainly doesn't need the help. On a final note more then one partner has pointed out that as the God of Virility he should be impregnating all female partners. His responce is usually just a cryptic smile. |
