"You know, I really could use someone." Dedra replied.
The man went inside his home and prepaired for their trip. He came back out with two lovely horses. "Ready?" He asked. Dedra was relieved that he got them, she had traved by foot for far too long.
"Am I!" She hoped on the horse in a lady like fasion and they headed down the path.
"St. Issacs Church would be a good place to look I think." The man stated. Dedra aggreed and so they headed to the church.

"Ahhh, welcome children of God." The priest said noticing that the pair was tierd and also noticing they were not married. "You need a bed do you?" He asked.
"Only if you have one to spare." Dedra replied. The priest nodded and lead Dedra and the man to a room, "Young man you may rest in here tonight, I will lead the lady to her quarters." The man went into his room. "You have a lovly church, but you seem so young to be the head priest." The priest smiled, "Quite true, I'm in fact not the head priest, nor am I a true priest, I'm to be ordained next half moon." He lead her to a small but cozy room, "You shall sleep here." Dedra thanked the man and as he began to leave she asked, "Perhaps you could keep me company for awhile, I get nervous in new places, we'll just chat."
"I see no harm in chatting, as long as it's not too loud. The priests have their vows of silence you know, wouldn't want to disturb them."
The two sat down and did chat for quite a bit but Dedra couldn't help but notcied that this man was very handsome. |
