Wedding Nerves | homebrewer | 4

Though Katy was intrigued, she knew that she was close to the Watson's house, and considering herself entirely lawful, she decided to drive her normal speed - she would be there in a trice anyway.

Within minutes she pulled up at the front door, checked her looks in the mirror, got out of the car and rang the door bell. She saw a dark figure approaching through the mottled glass and the door opened. "Hello Mr. Watson," Katy began to say, and then stopped. Leanne's father was in front of her but was only wearing his dressing gown. Tufts of hair poked up from his chest, and she looked down quickly to his bare legs. Katy looked Ron Watson full in the face, and tried to look disapproving. "This had better be good," she said.

"Don't just stand there on the door-step," Ron Watson answered. "You're letting a draft in and I don't want my neighbours to see me in my dressing gown. Come in, and I'll explain." Without thinking, Katy stepped into the house and pulled the door closed. "Well?" she asked.

"It's Leanne," Ron started. "She has a wicked sense of humour. When she came back from the hen night, she put all my clothes into a suitcase while I was in the shower, and left with them immediately. She left me this note," he said, handing Katy a note, "and that's why I didn't want you to ring her. And yours was the only number I could remember."

Katy took the note and read in Leanne's handwriting, "Hey Pops - this is for cheating on Mother when I was 17. Have fun." Katy calculated this was a long time to get a somewhat weird revenge - seven years. "So what do you want me to do, Mr. Watson?" she asked.

What does Mr Watson want Katy to do?
