Mazes and mazes, oh my | Genandherpet | 2

So you choose left. The lion. You walk over to the gate with the huge lion head. You chose the lion, yes? Good.

You place your hands on the head and realize just how detailed it is. The main, eyes, even the whiskers that are stuck out of it are made of steel.

You push the gate open and it swings open with a squeak. Stepping in past the gate the gate closes and locks. You look behind you to notice that no longer are you in the field but you are now in a hallway.

The back of the gate now a very detailed, gorgeous, fancy door. But no handle and no lock. Yet it snicked in place.

When you realize it's not going to open you turn around. The hallway is as long as a foot ball field and as wide as a yacht. The floors covered in marble in the colour of white and black.

All along the wall there were pictures and painting of lions. Lions of different ages, sizes, sexes, and poses. cubs with their mothers, a male with a whole den of females and so on and so forth.

Each picture had a different frame and each had a different size to it. The wall covered in a golden rod paint that allowed the room a nice glow to it. In between the pictures there were pedestals that held swords, shields, armour, weapons and helmets. Each piece covered in a thick lid of glass.

Finally at the end of the hallway was two doors that were closed. Like before, they did not have any handle or lock. To the right wall the door had a ruby embeded in the wood which was surrounded by gold. To the left there was yet another door and that held a sapphire.

Between the two doors there were two huge statues of a top half of men. Each man held out both of their hands. The hands held a sword that had a lion's head for the hilt. The mouth of the lion held an emerald.

You take the sword and when you do you the hands lower to the men's side. Finally with that done you look down and the base of each statue held a hole that each held a box with a button.

The buttons were actual jems. the one on the right held a ruby and the one on the left obviously held a sapphire. The jems obviously able to be pushed.

Each box coated in a pure silver. Now the question is....

Ruby or Sapphire? Red and Blue?
