"Because...because I love you goddammit." 's eyes widen and she covers her mouth in shock.
You continue, "That's why I'm so fucking pissed you told me you had a boyfriend right as I wanted to kiss you."
"B-but how?" asks quietly, as if worried that one wrong word would set you off.
"I'm not sure when I fell for you, but I realised it as soon as you left my sight in the terminal at the airport. It felt as if a part of me left with you that day leaving an empty hole in my chest," you close your eyes, trying to resist the flow of tears that are starting to come as you begin to break down, "I t-tried to keep myself busy, but everything I did k-kept reminding me of you or wasn't as f-fun without you, ." You look up and see the tears streaming down her face.
"The only things that kept me going was our constant communication and my visit, but that still wasn't enough to fill the gap."
"S-so, why didn't you tell me?" she says.
"Because I was scared... scared that I'd lose you if I told you. I didn't want to lose you. I don't and I still do."
As you finish, you begin to cry, tears falling into your lap. You've always hated to cry in front of , but right now you don't really give a damn.
