Jessica, who is already planning all the things she could do to Lisa before killing her... suddenly realises she will need a plan to trick Lisa into trusting her and then ultimately being able to kidnap Lisa or trick Lisa into coming with her to somewhere secluded where she can do what she likes with Lisa and then kill her
It does not take long for the very experienced bounty hunter, Jessica to figure out a basic plan, though from experience Jessica also knows that things do not always go as planned...
As the saloon was where Lisa killed John Delver (Jessica's brother), that probably would be a good place to see if Lisa was there
Jessica tied her horse up in front of the saloon and entered the saloon
As in many small towns, when a stranger enters the saloon, all the people pause to look at who this persone is and if they mean trouble or not...
Jessica also used this opportunity to casually look around the room to see if Lisa was there
She sees a few women, but none fit the description she got from the fellow gang members of her brother
Jessica then just approaches the bar, sits down and orders a drink, whiskey, double shots...
The bar tender grabs a glass and places it in front of Jessica, while he goes for the whiskey bottle Jessica asks him if he seen a cowgirl around here recently
The bar tender just says "yes"
Jessica then asks "What about a cowgirl who shot someone from the Black Lynchers"
The bar tender says "yes... quite the pistol fight it was"
Jessica, neither offended or feeling any better from that comment, simply asks "If I be looking to get into contact with this cowgirl, would you happen to know where i'd find her"
Before the bar tender can respond, someone sitting nearby interrupts and responds to Jessica, "I might know how you could find her, but first I must know why you want to come into contact with this cowgirl"
Jessica, almost wanting to blurt out that she wants to make the cowgirl suffer and then kill her, keeps her cool and responds "I am in need of such skill"
Seeming like a reasonable responce the guy tells Jessica that Lisa is in one of the rooms above the saloon right now, apparently she drank too much and thus hired a room for the night and might well still be sleeping...
Jessica simply grins at the man and the bar tender and goes off towards the stairs... |
