As you walk to the plane, you can feel your heart skip a beat. You’ve known this woman for just a few minutes, yet you can tell already that this is going to go somewhere. When you get to your seats you offer her the window seat. Just then a flight attendant comes over to you.
“Excuse me sir, but all bags must be placed in the overhead compartments for take off. Also, you must sit in your assigned seat until after we have finished the security check-in, and the Captain turns off the seat belt lights.” She says as she takes her position for the pre-flight jargon.
You wince down at , thinking that the flight attendant has just killed the moment for you. However, looks back up and smiles.
“It’s okay , you can sit by the window.” She winks at you, appreciating the thought.
“Hey if you want, once that light goes off, I’ll get up to use the bathroom, and you can switch seats while I’m gone.” You suggest, as she sits down in her seat and rests her head on your shoulder. You sigh as you know this is going to be the best vacation of your life.
The flight goes smooth for you don’t know how long. You spend what seems like hours talking to . You are so lost in the conversation that you don’t want to get up to use the rest room. When you no longer can stand the pressure building up, you take a quick peek at the overhead lights and notice that it is okay to move around.
“Excuse me, ; I need to use the rest room.” You turn to get up. “Can you please do me a favor?”
“Sure, anything for you .” She replies.
“If the attendant comes through with the drink cart, can you get me a Diet Coke?” You ask. She nods. As you turn around to walk towards the rest room, grabs your hand.
“Is there anything else I can get you?” She asks as she pulls you back towards her so she can whisper to you. “Such as a life membership in the Mile High Club?”
