It takes the three ladies about eleven seconds to get up the stairs and into your apartment. Jess is pissed at you. She has that “Angry Grandma” look on her face, and you think she is just seconds away from grabbing you by the earlobe and dragging you out to the limo.
“ Marinelli, if you think we are going to let you lie around here and drink yourself into a coma while we go on the best trip ever, you are fucking crazy. NOW, get your ass in that shower, and get dressed.” Jessica is not playing around. The last man she got pissed at had no choice but to marry her.
“, it’s been three months. Why do you do this to yourself because of Melissa? All you are doing is making it look like you are the one who messed up and blew the perfect relationship. I’ve known her for eight years. Trust me, she’s not worth this kind of self-torture, now let’s go.” Lauren says. You figure that she of all people should know why you are so heart broken. After all, she was the one who introduced you to Melissa. However, you cannot help but feel a sense of guilt in her voice.
“My poor brother-in-law! I can’t imagine what you are going through, but it can’t be all that bad. Now, let’s go, before I make my husband come up here and get you. Come on, the limo is waiting for us.” Your sister-in-law Sam adds. When she finishes speaking, you begrudgingly walk towards the bathroom, strip and hop in the shower.
“That’s it, ! You won’t be disappointed.” Jess shouts through the closed door. After a fifteen minute shower/shit/shave session, you walk out into the living room of you place. The girls are numbing through magazines, while Greg takes a sip from a glass of OJ. You step into your room and grab a pair of cargo shorts, a shirt that doesn’t scream “TOURIST” and a ball cap and throw them on. You grab a pair of sandals and exit the room.
