Kael easily caught her fist in midair, an amused expression on his face. Piper barely had time to react as the back of his right hand slapped across her cheek, Piper fell to her knees, stunned by the force of the blow. Piper's hand reached up to her face to where her cheek burned with pain. It hadn't been that hard of a blow, she decided upon closer inspection, her cheek might swell a little at the point of impact, but no permanent damage. She grunted as Kael grabbed a handful of her hair, forcefully tilting her face up to look at him.
"You cannot resist little girl," he said forcefully, "My will my desire is the only one that matters here." The anger and confidence Piper had felt a moment before vanished, replaced by an even greater fear then before.
