Joanne was not surprised Peter wanted to be elsewhere. He didn’t even kiss her on his way out. She went to her room and changed into her bikini, which was perhaps a little skimpier than necessary. But she liked the way it showed her cleavage to its best advantage. She walked through the house and into the back garden, to the pool. Mike was already there and in his swimming trunks. Joanne looked appreciatively at Mike; his lean, toned chest with a hint of hair running to his navel, and his long, firm legs.
“I caught you looking,” Mike said, “and you, a married woman.”
“I was not,” Joanne stammered, blushing.
“And you’re turning a delightful shade of pink, because of the sun, right?”
“Am not.”
Joanne took her towel, laid it out by the pool and laid face down, letting the sun soak into her back.
“You’ll burn like that,” she heard Mike say. “Can I put some lotion on your back?”
Joanne hesitated. Should she allow him to do this? He was right, of course. She did need some sun-cream, but she was a little uncomfortable with someone other than Peter doing something so intimate. But it wasn’t as if she was planning to fuck him. Alternatively, she could tell him to go for a swim and she would take care of herself.
