You stand up and walk over to Sarah. "Listen, I really need to get back to my date. I am flattered and if I were here alone I'd be all over you, but I am here with Katherine. So, I should go," you tell Sarah.
She looks extremely mad and she grunts a "Hmmf!" sound. Instead of sticking around with the angry girl you walk out of the room. You find Katherine with Rebecca and her date.
"Where have you been Mr. King?" demands Katherine.
"Uuh, I was getting a drink with some of the guys," you stutter.
Amazingly Katherine believes your BS and invites you to have the last dance with her. Almost every couple is on the floor for this dance and you are forced to hold Kat close, not that you mind in the slightest. She presses her body against you, making sure her chest is tight to your body, she doesn't seem to mind either. The music is a slow song and as you dance you move in a circle, swaying back and forth.
As you move around the dance floor you see Rebecca and her date. You also see your friend Ron and his date too, he has his hands all over her ass. You know he is getting laid tonight, but the chances for you have dwindled. The music fades out and the couples begin exiting the dance floor. That is when out of the corner of your eye you catch Sarah watching. Some people walk in front of her then when you look again she is gone. Everybody heads home and you go to your house to sleep the rest of the shortened night away.
The Next Day at School.
With the dance over the high school is getting back to normal. You walk down the semi-crowded hallway with 3 huge textbooks in your arms. You feel like your arms will fall off if you don't get rid of them soon. You reach your locker and twist the combination lock 12, 29 & 43, once it is open you chuck the books inside and slam it shut.
Down the hall from you is Katherine and she's standing in front of her locker. You watch as she spins the numbers to open the lock. You begin walking toward her as she pulls the lock off the loop. Then she pulls open the locker door. Suddenly she screams in terror and steps back from her locker! You rush over quickly and glance inside the open locker. |
