Spike and Max left the warehouse, and headed in the direction of the museum.
"Well love, why is someone as fine as you helpin' us?" Spike asked.
"Your boss helped me out of a difficult situation." Max replied. "One i'd much rather not talk about, if it's all the same to you."
"Fine, fine. Everyone has their secrets." Spike said with his trademark grin.
SOME TIME LATER...
"At last. The Museum of Natural History." Max said. "Angel said the rod you need is in the southern display wing."
"I'm glad someone was listening to him, cuz i wasn't." Spike replied.
"What am I gonna do with you?" Max asked.
"Don't worry love. I'll create a diversion while you steal the rod." Spike replies, then he jumps onto the roof of the museum.
Max sneaks more conventionally to the loading doors. Taking out a small cutting torch, she cuts a portion of the door away. She then heads inside.... |
