Joxer moved back to the edge of the tub and moved his hand from Xena's breast to the jewel contained in his pants. On a gold chain dangled a pink gem that seemed to glow with an inner life. Xena seemed surprized as he moved his face from her chest to hold the jewel before her and Gabrielle.
"Entrance," Joxer said activating the jewel. He hadn't believed it when he had discovered the jewel in that hidden cave. Legend had it that he who held the gem and was it's master could place anyone under a trance from which they would obey any command. It was simple to gain control over the gem, it was also simple to use it in a test on the warrior princess and her bard sidekick. He just told them what to do when they came to the first inn with a bath. Now it was time for his next orders.
Little did Joxer know that Callisto had seen the jewel and her the command word. She was now in a trance under Joxer's command. So when he gave his commands to the two other women, Callisto was listening and accepting them as her orders. |
