Once the old man is behind the screen you decide that if you teased him the way you want to you may give him a heart attack. You really want to explore the rest of the mall.
Looking around you see all the decorations up for the Christmas season. The blinking lights make you smile and the Christmas tunes that fill the air bring a spring to your step. You walk past a few stores with Santa painted in the window. This fills your head with an idea or two.
Your pace quickens as now you have a target. A huge smile crosses your face as you reach the center of the mall. There in the center plaza is a winter wonderland and in the middle of all that sit Santa.
You look and see that there is no line yet. It was much to early for the kids to be in the mall right now. They should all be in school. It would be just you and Santa and anyone who would want to watch.
But as you walk up to the main gate to the winter wonderland you see the most amazing woman you have ever seen hanging clothes up in the Veronica’s Whispers. |
