"Oh, uh, really? I uh...I get that a lot," Mac stammered. He nervously drank some water as he looked at Frankie. She really did look great in the black dress she was wearing. It accentuated her curves, which Mac hadn't noticed before today. He knew they were there, of course, but he never noticed them, specifically.

"So....what's your name?" Frankie asked. She dreaded every word that could have possibly come out of his mouth. He was obviously checking her out, and it made her uneasy.

"My name?! Uh....you...you wanna know my name?!"

"Uh....yes?" Now she wasn't so sure.

"It's Mac." Frankie raised an eyebrow. "...Ks....amillion! Maximillion! Yeah. Maximillion."

"O...k. So....do you wanna like, talk to me or anything, or are you just here for the water?"

Mac looked down at his nearly empty glass. He was drinking a lot of water, but he was so nervous. He wondered why. It was just Frankie, right? The same cool, nice pretty redhead he'd known for a couple years now and...

'Pretty redhead?' Mac thought. 'I just called Frankie pretty!'

"Look, if you're not ready to talk, we can just relax. to be honest, I could use a break."

"From what?"

"All these guys! They're all so...boring! *sigh* I wish I was a lesbian."

"Why do you wanna convert?"

"What?"

"I mean, I don't see how joining a different religion would help with this."

She stared at him for a second before laughing. Mac chuckled, as though he were joking.

"You're pretty funny."

"Uh...yeah. Thanks. So, how's everything going at Fost...Foster's....uh....Heating and Cooling Unit Sales?" For the first time, he was glad his mother took the scenic route to the store when he rode with her.

"I...don't...know. Why?"

"Oh, just uh....heh-heh. Another joke!"
