Julie continued along the path until she reached an odd looking house. She decided that it would be best for her to investigate the house and see if there were any friendly people inside. She knocked several times on the door and no one answered, so Julie let herself inside.
Julie was surprised by the odd things she saw in the house. There were remains of dead animals hanging on the walls, along with other weird objects. In the middle of the main room was a large cauldron and inside was some sort of boiling stew. Behind the stew was a large bookshelf. Julie picked up a book with the title "Recipes and Witchcraft."
"So a witch lives here..." Julie said. Suddenly, the door behind her opened. Julie quickly dashed into the next room and hide behind an odd-looking chair.
"Ah, the stew is looking good," a voice cackled from the other room. "Hey, where's my recipe book?!"
Julie watched as an ugly old woman wandered into the next room. "Has someone been in my house?!"
The woman continued to look around before she came to the chair. The witch looked behind the chair. "Ah, a pretty young girl has come to visit me! Come out from there, won't you?"
Julie stood up from behind the chair, not looking into the face of the ugly woman. "Ah, I have plans from such a beauty as you," the witch said, taking her hand and leading her into the other room. |
