You walk over to where the boxes sit. You think that these could contain any other symbol of power within mythology, so at the very least you can see what is inside. Though you remember the tale of Pandora's Box, and any other trap that could be contained within these beautiful golden cases. Each one is nearly identical except for a gem ornamenting each chest.
One is a Red stone, possibly a ruby or a gem unknown to other men, a The Stone seems to glow from within, a fiery glow, like the eye of satan it stabs into you, compelling you to open it.
But an equal compelling comes from another which is a stone of chrystal or diamond or another white stone, it also seems to be glowin from within, possibly from heaven... or from the Mountain of Greek Gods.
And another is Green, perhaps an emerald. This stone compells you, a pulling equal to that of the two other stones. It has a calm about it, such as the tranquil forests, but within forests can hide terrible beasts. |
