She quickly typed "cant come over rite now" to Ryan, "ill be there in a few mins" to Heather, and logged off.

Not five minutes later, she was ringing the doorbell at Heather's house. She had changed quickly into a little denim skirt that stopped just above her knees and a tiny pink top.
The door opened, and she was shocked to see a boy! She didn't know who it was, and she was worried she may have had the wrong house for a second before Heather appeared in the doorway beside him and said "Hey! Come on in!"
Lexis was unsure, but she entered the house. It was her friend's house, after all. Heather wouldn't do anything to Lexis that she wouldn't approve of. She closed the door behind her.
Looking around, she saw a lot of guys. A lot a lot. Very few girls anywhere. In fact, aside from Heather and herself, Lexis saw three other girls, neither of whom she recognized, and about 15 guys.
"You told me it was just some of the girls, Heather." Lexis turned and commented as she grabbed a drink. "What's going on?"
"Oh, lighten up. If I'd have told you there were boys, you wouldn't even think about coming. Just relax, enjoy yourself. Pull up a seat next to somebody fine." Heather's speech was coming out mildly slurred. She was drunk.
"I'm not sitting next to somebody 'fine.' Nobody here is as attractive as Ryan."
"Oh, cut it out with that crap. Ryan Ryan Ryan. You make me sick, Lex. Look, don't you have the slightest idea that he's cheating on you?"
"What? Heather, don't..."
"Yeah. Captain of the football team, not getting some pussy on the side? Dream on. There isn't a single girl in our school that wouldn't let him fuck her, myself included."
"Heather!"
"Hey, if he weren't dating you, I'd be all over him. But do you think everyone else has that rule? You think everyone is such good friends with you that they'd back off of your man for you?"
Lexis dropped her head in thought.
"I thought so. Look, just sit. Enjoy yourself. Have some fun. Forget about Ryan for tonight and live it up."
Lexis decided she may as well have some fun. She looked around for someone to mingle with. |
