You pick up one of the files on your desk read it carefully then decided to call Julie. You hear her pleasant "hello" from the speaker, before getting straight to the point.
"What the hell is the OCK?" You ask.
"The what?"
"The TV Show file, the OCK!" You repeat. You hear her laugh from the speaker.
"The O.C , Orange County. A popular teen drama set in California. And they want to use our hotel for a few episodes. Can't believe you've never heard of it before."
"So the California hotel?" You ask.
"No, the one here, in Manhattan. I can't say much, their afraid of getting episode information leaked out. The producers and most of the cast are in town, waiting for someone to confirm that they can use it. I’ve set up a meeting in the main business room in an hour."
"Great..." You say.
- 1 hour later… Meeting Room. -
"So the deal's settled?" You say to the producer, who just nods.
"You know, it's surprising how young you are for a guy in your position." He replies.
"I get that a lot."
"Why don't I take you to meet the cast and crew? They're all waiting downstairs." He gestures, as if he owns the place. "You know, you'd be just the right size and age for our new character." He says, as you make your way to the elevator.
"Sorry, I've not got much time for anything else besides business." You smile.
"Exactly like our new character! C'mon it'll be good, only for a couple of episodes, you'll get good press, new fans... The girls will be all over you!" He nudges you weirdly. You enter the elevator.
"I'm going to be busy..." You say.
"C'mon! It'll be fun... And if you don't, I'll probably just go to another hotel and film it. You'll lose all the good publicity."
"So now you're threatening me. Fine I'll do it." The two of you walk out of the elevator. You are greeted by a group of directors, but you are able to tell the actors from the rest, easily viewing the four. You remember them from the file straight of, their characters and names - but still they introduce them to you. A tall, brunette girl comes towards you first,
"Hi, I'm Mischa Barton - I play Marissa." She smiles, shaking your hand, you kind of like her now.
"I'm Rachel Bilson, I play Summer." She says, after that the two other boys shake your hands respectively. After ten minutes of talking all of you know each other very well. Rachel finally announces something,
"I'm going out to party, which one of you are coming?" She asks.
"I'm not going..." Mischa yawns, "I'm tired, I might go up to the room - anyone wanna come?"
