You put the CD into the drive. You must be going crazy having all of this happening in games, but a part of you thinks it might be some secret Easter egg in the game and you want to see if it's also in the PC version.
The game is loading, a picture of that hot blonde is before you while the purple progress bar is crawling under her. Suddenly, she moves. She leans forward a bit more yet, giving you an even better view down her cleavage as she flirtingly takes off her shades.
"I want you sooo badly," she draws in her seductive voice while giving you the 'fuck me' look. "Pull me out before the bar finishes, baby. I'll make it worth your while..." The promise is incredibly inviting, but you are not sure what she means by 'pull her out' and by the time your awe is gone the game is finished loading and the blonde disappears off the screen.
Swallowing nervously, you load up one of your previous saves. In the short time it takes the save to load you feel a strange force pulling you out of your chair, out of your body that's in the chair, and into the monitor, where you merge into a corporeal being.
The world around you now seems much more real. You feel the soft, sweet breeze of sea air flowing through the open window of your mansion. Wait, YOUR mansion?! You look around, taking in the surroundings. You're in the upstairs office of the mansion which Tommy, the character you played, took over from a local druglord. One look at the large mirror tells you without a mistake that you are Tommy. You look cartoonish still, but the quality of graphics is far better than it was on your monitor. Still, even this cartoonish look can't take away the overall coolness you convey.
"I look fine," you say, and immediately raise your eyebrows in surprse. The words came out in the same cool Ray Liotta voice Tommy speaks in the game.
You take your time getting used to the surroundings and getting over the awe of the situation, until there are quick, hurried steps and pants coming to your door. A short, balding, hilarious little lawyer character tumbles into your office and falls onto the couch.
"Oh, my God, Tommy! Tommy, listen!" He rushes, as he usually does, upset even by the tiniest of things. "They just called, they just called from Prawn Island, and the director, he says there's some kind of delay. Candy is upset, he says, and he wants you to come talk to her or the production plan for his flick is totally screwed, Tommy!" |
