“I’m sorry Kim; I just can’t get away right now.”
“Its okay , I understand.” Kim says, sighing as she hangs up the phone.
It was pretty depressing to have to say no to Kim, but it was the right choice. That paper won’t get done on its own. Anyway, you figure you can stop by and check on Kim later.
Just after gathering all your notes and settling down to write your paper, you hear a soft knock at the door.
When you look through the peep hole you realize that fidgeting on the other side of the door.
“I’m sorry to just barge in like this but I just have to talk to someone. Can I come in?” Kim asks.
Ron had mentioned to you once that when Kim really wanted something she would give a really sad puppy dog look that no one could refuse. Her current expression proves he wasn’t kidding.
