Jack and Dianne had lived a comfortable life in Melbourne..... the capital city of Victoria, Australia.
Jack, the senior accountant of a major corporation had worked 30 years.
Dianne, a housewife who loved entertaining.
But, after 30 years of work, Jack and Dianne wanted to retire....to enjoy their remaining days in comfort and peace.
Fresh air beckoned.....a country lifestyle.
Jack and Dianne packed up, and bought a lovely house in Toolern Vale, Victoria. The air was clean, the horses were cantering all over, the kangaroos grazed in the fields.
Ah! Heaven!
It was not soon after arriving that a couple of their new neighbours came to welcome them...
"G'day. I'm Pete, and this is my missus Sandy.....and this here hot couple are Steve and Patty.....we are your neigbours."
"Hi. I am Jack, and this is my wife Dianne. A pleasure to meet you."
"Welcome to Toolern Vale. God's own country here. Thought you might like to come on over to a party we are having at our place this weekend. You can meet the other land owners then.....everyone is coming. Just bring yourselves....we have all the grog and food ready....oh.....and dress casually! If it is hot, please bring your bathers.....we have the pool and the spa all set."
