I was told that for the next few weeks I would periodically get a phone call or be passed a note with some instructions. The instructions had to be carried out immediately and without question. It was almost 2 weeks before I received my first call. I was starting to wonder if they had changed their minds! Julie let me know that she would not be a part of my initiation because they required that I be willing to trust whoever was sent even if I didn’t know them. I was a little bummed; I thought maybe she would be a kind of safety net, but I wasn't going to let that stop me!
I was in my dorm when the call came. It was about 7:00 in the evening, and I was just finishing my homework. My plans were to head over and meet Julie at the campus gym to work out and maybe play a little tennis. We usually did that 3 or 4 times a week.
The voice on the phone was male. I didn’t recognize it, but he used a phrase that let me know this was part of my initiation. He said that someone would be by to pick me up in 5 minutes. I was to wait in my room and they would give me my instructions. I had no clue what to expect. My heart was beating like a drum, and that 5 minutes seemed like an hour! Finally I got a knock at the door. When I opened it there stood this pretty red head. She was wearing a very short cotton dress that hid nothing of her sensual curves. I remembered seeing her around campus but I didn’t know her name. She said: “Hi, I’m Suzie and I am your guide for tonight! Where is your underwear drawer?” She was so bubbly and nice it took me a moment to realize what she had asked me. “My underwear drawer?” I said without thinking. “Remember, no questions,” she reminded me.
