It has been two years since the first fall of Diablo in the town of Tristram, or so it would seem. Now, Diablo, possessing the body of the Warrior that had slain him, journeyed to the lands to free his brother, Baal , who is imprisoned in Lut Gholein, and re-unite with Mephisto. His plan was to re-unite the Three Prime Evils and bring the powers of Hell to this world, and in his wake let a trail of death and destruction. Now as he passed through the lands owned by the Sisters of the Sightless Eye, he had sent Andariel, Maiden of Anguish to take possession of the Rogue Monastery and corrupt the sisterhood.
Three female heroes now is hot on his trail, hoping to slay him.
