You blink for a moment, seeing Andrea sitting there. She looked a bit worn...as if she had just been driving, but that made sense...seeing as how she was attending a university that was a couple hours drive away. You opened your mouth, just at the verge of speaking before Andrea threw her arms around you, squeezing them in a tight hug.

"I'm so sorry...Mom called shortly after you went to bed. She told me all about what happened and well...I came right over."

She offered a bit of a smile before hugging you again. You could only wrap your arms around her...feeling a bit quiet for a moment. For the most part you were still in a bit of shock...all your plans for life having been dashed in one night...but for now you just savored the hug, sighing quietly. At least some things hadn't changed.

A few minutes later, your heard your mothers voice ring out with that pleasant sound of her announcing dinner. Ah...it had been a while since you'd had your mothers cooking..and a bit of a rumble from your stomach made Andrea giggle.

"Well guess we better get ya fed...I saw Mom cooking up one hell of a feast." She just grinned and poked your bare chest. "I'll see you down there." And off she bounced, out your room while you sat there for a moment...just thinking...before rising and donning a comfortable set of jeans and t-shirt.

As you made your way down the stairs, the scent of dinner caught your nose and a smile crossed your face. Once in the light, first your eyes laid upon the table, and quite a little spread it was. Mom had madeup a roast chicken, with all the fixings laid out before and in the midst was your mother and both Andrea and Amy.

Amy was rattling on to Andrea about how she would be attending college next semester, and how it was so hard to choose which one she wanted to go to. Just as you got down the stairs, Amy caught a glimpse of you and sprinted over to give you a tight hug "ANDY!!!!" You just laughed a bit and let your sister squeeze the living stuffing out of you. But shortly it ended as everyone took a seat, said thier prayers and turned thier attention towards the spread before them, and of course, the hot topics of the evening.

How does dinner go?
