He dropped to his knees staring at Jasmine, as she reclined nude on a bed.
"Come to me, my husband."
"Husband?"
"A queen needs a king, a goddess a god. As a reward for your incredible devotion you shall be that."
"Buffy, Faith."
"Yes, goddess?"
"Inform the people that I have married and let the celebrations begin."
"Yes, Jasmine."

The celebrations might be better referred to as orgies. Jasmine had to keep th ehuman population up to insure herself a steady supply of food. She had enjoyed using spy satelittes to watch entire towns couple under her orders. She loved watchign shows of devotion to her.
Her "husband" approached her, shedding his clothes and his nervousness as she pressed on the tenuous hive mind connection.
"I don't deserve this."
"You do, thanks to you I even found a way to cure the haters who betrayed me." She had the world's magic users regress them physically and mentally to before their exposure to her blood.
This plan was a way to tie her further to the mortal plane. Connor and Cordelia could die. A child with her blood born in this dimension would tie her to it. And by sharing a bit of her power with this man she could bring Connor and Cordelia into the hive mind as he had no blood conenction. She had been simply trusting Connor and keeping Cordelia comatose. Perhaps she could make them relive the moment of her conception.
