Dawn and Xander headed down the side street that the Magic Box was on. The outside looked the same, except the windows were darkened over. Opening the door, there was the familiar ring of the bell on the door. When they walked in, it wasn't what they expected.
Instead of the usual racks of books and trinkets, there was a small waiting area, and a matre'd!
"Ah, Meester 'arris, and the young mees Summers. Such a pleasant suprise." he said with a french accent. His suit was expensive looking. "The usual table?"
Xander and Dawn looked at each other. "Umm, sure." Xander stammered out.
"Bien sur! Very good. Just a moment." and he scurried behind the curtain.
"What's going on here Xander?" Dawn asked.
"I'm not sure." Xander said looking around, then quickly walking to the wall, "Wow, velvet wallpaper!"
"Please to follow me." the Matre'D said, reemerging from the curtain. They walked in. The store had been completely transformed. Everything was gone. In it's place sat tables with crisp white linen, crystal glasses, and fine silver flatware. They walked through room, which was quite busy.
With a flurry of activity people swarmed around the table they were led to. Lighting candles, bringing bread, filling water glasses, an ice bucket with champagne. "We have a lovely brisket this evening, and we have already started the souffles for dessert. Can I bring you anything right now?"
Xander and Dawn were both stunned for a second. "Uh, n-no. thank you."
"Very good sir." He said with a quick bow. "Enjoy the show."
"Show?" Dawn said as he retreated. Turning to Xander, "Did he say show?"
Suddenly the lights went out. A spotlight shown on a stage against the back wall. A voice over a loudspeaker quieted the murmers of the crowd. "Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the Magic Box. Tonight, enjoy the erotic entertainment of...
