"I'm sorry, but I am busy tonight. Maybe I can talk more about your friend another night." Professor Hallmark pages through her planner. "Would you have time thursday night?"
Thats two days from tonight, you think to yourself. "Yes Professor Hallmark, I would."
"Excellent, why don't you come by my office around 5:30. There shouldn't be anyone around then and we can talk without being disturbed."
"Ok, thats sounds fine." You are disappointed that she wants to meet you at her office again. You would prefer a bar, or your apartment or her house.
"I need to go to an appointment now, so if you will excuse me." Professor Hallmark stands and ushers you out of her office. She closes and locks the door behind her and then walks to the elevator.
You decide to take the stairs and end up reaching the ground floor a little after your professor. As you step around the corner into the main hallway you see her walk out of the building to the parking lot. You are curious about where she is going, but you don't want to get in trouble for following her. Should you follow your professor or just wait until thursday night? |
