Venus Rising | gystex | 6

"Look, this is just getting way too weird," you say. "I didn't sign up for this! There are at least a billion other mortal men who can do this - let me down and pick one of them!"

The goddesses frown and, in unison, snap their fingers. The irons flip open and drop you suddenly to the floor. When you look up, Venus and Aphrodite have vanished as though they were never there.

It's a year later when, while surfing the web once again, you are hit by a pop-up window bearing the statuesque form of the Love Goddess.

"Hey, loverboy," she says with a smile.

"Hey yourself," you reply angrily. "What the hell did you do to me? Do you realize I haven't been able to get it up for a whole year now? I thought you said I could go free, and that would be it!"

"Think harder," she says. "You asked if I could leave you as you were, and that's exactly what I did. As I recall, you had just blown your load across the room, and you were fairly soft when I let you out of those irons. That's how you were, and that's how you'll stay."

"For how long?" you ask in a quivering voice.

"That's for me to decide," Venus says, laughing. "But cheer up, I'm not one to hold a grudge. You can have your little tallywhacker back... in the next life, I should think. Definitely no later than the one after that."

She blows you a kiss as she fades from your screen.

* THE END *
