You think for a moment, but you soon come to a decision. You need a job to keep yourself fed, and it wouldn't exactly be great if you blew this job before it had even started. So, you get up, still naked, and begin to get ready for work. Before putting your clothes on, you walk into the bathroom and throw water on your face, trying to wake yourself up.
Just as you reach for your tooth brush, the phone begins to ring. You turn and walk back into your bedroom, to find that your girlfriend has woken up at the sound of the ring, what with the phone being next to the bed and all. You stand at the door to the bathroom as she picks it up and answers.
"Hello? Oh, hi. Yep, I'll just get him for you." she says in her groggy voice, before looking up at you.
"It's for you, honey." she says with a yawn. As you take the phone out of her hands she collapses back onto the bed and falls asleep.
You take the cordless phone and put it to your ear, before heading back into the bathroom, figuring you can get ready and talk at the same time.
