A Bad Loan | SparkyMan | 4

Brenda flinched under the uncomfortable gaze from Carmine. There was a different look in his eyes. There seemed to be a contentious sneer glaring at her through his eyes. He quickly diverted his attention from Brenda to Vito. Carmine stopped in mid-sentence, and directed Vito to fetch the chair from the dining room table. Carmine stood silently in the middle of the room, waiting for Vito to return with the high-backed Queen Anne chair complete with arm-rests. The chair was placed next to Mitch. Once in place, Vinnie hoisted Mitch from the cushioned seat and placed him into the wooden one. Mitch slumped forward, nearly falling out of the uncomfortable chair.

“Secure him.” Vito left the room again, while Vinnie straightened Mitch up. Vinnie held Mitch in place until Vito returned with a roll of duct tape. The two men strapped Mitch in place, sitting straight up, wrapping the tape around his chest and the back of the chair. The tape job actually helped relieve some of the pressure on his ribs, even though he was now confined to the chair. Mitch’s wrists and elbows were taped to the arms of the mahogany stained chair. Lastly, Mitch’s ankles were secured to the knobby bottoms of the elegant furniture.

Carmine ripped a seven-inch length from the silver, multi-purpose tape. He slowly walked towards Mitch, an evil fire burning in his eyes. He held the tape a mere inch from Mitch’s mouth as he gasped for air. “Your nose is busted up pretty good. You probably can’t breathe through it right now.” He was right! Mitch couldn’t breathe through the swollen membranes. “This is a warning! One word out of your mouth and this tape will seal it shut! Do you understand?” Mitch gathered up all the strength he could to nod his aching head.

Carmine smiled, and then sat himself down in the more comfortable chair next to Mitch, flanked on either side behind him by Vito and Vinnie. Turning his attention back to Brenda, he addressed her. “Brenda, right?” Brenda acknowledged without nodding and without a word. “Well Brenda, seems as if Mac has accepted your offer.” Carmine clasped his hands together entwining his long fingers amongst each other. “I’m sure you can understand the repercussions of failing to make your regular payments.” For the first time since they entered the house, Brenda saw the bright white smile cross his face once again.

Brenda nervously analyzed Carmine’s behavior, and constantly sought some kind of assurance from Mitch. She failed both tasks, unable to determine Carmine’s intentions, and unable to read her silent husband’s eyes. The knots in her stomach tightened as she listened to Carmine continue.

“Mac wants to make sure you are sincere in your offer.” Carmine hesitated momentarily, glancing at Mitch to his left before he continued. “He said you need to make a down payment in good faith.”

Mitch groaned, and was about to speak out, when he remembered the honest threat of cutting off his air supply with the duct tape. His eyes widened in horror, trying to alert his naïve wife of the implications.

Brenda looked confused. She thought to herself that she could write a check, draining their account, as a down payment; but Mitch’s near outburst caused her to look questioningly at Carmine.

Carmine snickered. “Brenda! Get down on your knees and crawl over here to me. When you get here, give me the best blowjob of your life!”

Does Brenda obey?

          With slight hesitation ...
