You wake up what seems like only a few minutes later. When you wake up, you immediately wonder why you did so, noticing the alarms on your clock have yet to go off, and there appears to be nothing different about where you are.
Immediately, however, that changes. You hear a creaking sound, and notice what appears to be your bedroom door slowly opening. Knowing you are still in your bed and your parents are out-of-state, you wonder what (or who) is entering your room. Soon, that question is answered, as you see the door was being controlled by a woman. She soon closes it, once she is standing on the same side of it as you are laying.

"Excuse me!" you shout. "How did you get into my house, let alone my room?!"
"Easy!" she responds. "I let myself in!"
Before you can argue this point, she raises her right hand, and you notice a ring of keys hanging from the feather duster it currently holds.
"Where did you get those keys?!" you ask her.
"From your parents!" she replies simply as she begins to approach you.
"You must be mistaken!" you tell her. "My parents are nowhere near the area, just as you should be!"
"Are you ?!" she asks you.
To confused to speak, you simply nod.
"Then there is no mistake!" she says confidently, smiling at the end of the sentence.
"Why would my parents give you keys to their house?!" you ask the still-unidentified stranger. "They told me they were on their way--"
"To Saint Lucia," she finishes. "I know. Meanwhile, you will be experiencing the rest of the Saints, starting with me. My name is Samantha."
With that, she throws the duster and keyring to the floor. She then bends over slightly, pulling the covers back until they are almost-completely removed from your body.
"What are you doing, Sa... Samantha?!" you ask her.
"My job!" she replies confidently. "To make sure you are never again able to enter the Virgin Islands being one yourself!" |
