Wendy walked in and saw people dressed up but she also noticed none where dressed in a a naughty form all nice. Some had masks some had full body suits. Wendy passed it off and was glad she wore the shirt. She saw an empty table and sat down.
Before long a man in a suit walked over to her and said, "Mam I am the manager here at the Wellborne Country Club and welcome to the Naughty and Nice Night: A Night of Fun party can I get your name. To make sure your an invited guest."
Wendy smiled and said, "My name is Wendy."
Before she could say her last name the manager interuppted her and said, "Ok your the first name on the list I see your wearing the outfit picked."
Wendy smiled and used her arms to show she was she also answered, "Yes I am."
The Manager smiled and looked back at the chart his face toward from happy to concerned he then said, "Mam I see what we gave you and the shirt wasnt part of it."
Wendy confused asked, "Is that a problem the bib doesn't hide things very well."
The manager smirked, "Mam we were told precisley that you should be only wearing what was given. I am sorry the shirt has to be taken off."
Before Wendy could object the manager gestured for one of his staff to come over with scissors. The Manager then looked at Wendy and said, "Mam I am sorry but could you stand up."
Wendy got up and said, "You cant be serious."
The manager said, "We are only following orders sorry."
He then nodded and his staff cut her shirt off. The bib fell but still you could see everything. Wendy looked around few people glanced but no one seam to notice.
The manager took the shirt and said, "Thank you would you like a drink."
Wendy said, "What the hell it could get worse sure make it surprise."
The manager smiled and said, "Coming right up."
After he left the music stopped and a man walked up on stage and said, "I just wanted to thank everyone for coming to this party. You might think we held it but it all fair we didnt. The mysterious person who paid for this entire event would like to thank you himself."
Ted, Wendy ex walked on stage Wendy was sitting so she didnt notice he started, "I just wanted to thank everyone and also the main guest to whom I throw this party for. Will my ex Wendy please stand up."
When Wendy eyes widened she recognized the voice and her name. She arose to him looking at her. Then the light.
Ted said, "Wendy this party is one of my presents for you. The other one your wearing you were always a whiny baby and now everyone can see it for themselves. Give the baby a hand who else would walk out of the house in that."
Ted and the crowd clapped Wendy was speechless due to embarrassment. Ted then spoke, "I not only showed you as a baby I made you one this is present I spent on myself. Be happy being young."
He then looked at the audience and said, "Now lets keep the party going."
He walked off the stage and Wendy was dumbfounded what just happened. Also what did he mean by he made me a baby. The manager came back with her drink. It was in a martini glass but it looked like egg nog. Wendy shucked it down thinking of what to do next. Stay or go. |
