Sam knew he was between a rock a hard place. He knew that he would he either be arrested or humiliated who ever opened that door.
But the door opened and Michelle came out and looked she looked at Sam in a school girls uniform and nervously looked at the cop she asked, "How may I help you officer?"
The officer explained what happened how her supposed sister was cutting school he found her returned her to school and then after drove her home.
Sam was a little behind the officer mouthing the words "Please go along."
Michelle smirked and said, "Thank you officer."
She then turned to her neighbor and said, "Ok Sam come on in."
Sam walked in but Michelle said, "Hey before you go is there something you want to say to the nice officer who brought you home."
Sam knew what she meant his mother said those same lines many times, "Thank you"
The officer tipped his hat and said, "Have a nice day. Make sure she gets to school tomorrow."
He then walked to his car.
Michelle quickly shut the door and looked at her neighbor and burst out laughing. Sam rolled his eyes.
Michelle said, "I am guessing you didnt make the deposit."
Sam said, "No I got picked up before that. Where the hell is your sister anyway?"
Michelle said, "Well I thought she was at school but since you where in her place by the way the dress looks great on you. I guess she isnt?"
Sam started heading for the door he said, "Well tell her I took the bullet this time but next time its her."
