You decided to jump. None of the guards would be crazy enough to follow you. You run planting your hand on the bridge as you vault. Luckily the water is far as you hit almost instantly. As you come back up you swear as the shock of the cold water hits you. You suddenly realize this was a bad idea as the water begins to pull you along at a fast pace. You struggle against the current as it tosses you about.
As you look you notice that you are heading toward a water fall, you don’t know how far it is to the bay below but you know it is a pretty good drop off. You here the thundering sound as you fill something wiz by you and hit the water. You manage to glance over your shoulder as you see the guard standing on the bridge reloading there weapons getting ready to fire again. You half wish you could fire back but your gun is no good now in the water nor would it until it dried out. Not unless you wanted to club someone on the head with it.
You notice a sewer grate coming up before the drop off, You could try and make a swim for it but if you managed to grab it you might be a sitting target for their rifles, though the odds at this range of hitting you were slim though still possible. That and it was a sewer which wasn’t the ideal hiding place. The side closes to you was lower and you might be able to get a hand hold and climb out, though the guards would be back on your ass in no time flat. The only other option was just as bad which meant actually going over the falls on purpose. You might be able to control the plummet and hit the water below and not get killed.
