"Not bad." He replied. "Suppose a bowl of cereal for breakfast is out of the question." He quickly added as she began to cough while taking a swallow.

“What’s so funny?” Jo said as she came into the kitchen.
“Nothing.” Alex said with a grin.
“Hey Jo, it is so good to see you.” Emily said as she came over and hugged Jo tightly.

“Mum, coffee that sounds good.” Jo said with a smile noticing him drinking a cup.
“Where out of milk.” Alex said as his mom grinned looking at him.
“That’s okay I just want Coffee.” Jo said as she walked over and got a coffee cup down.
“You mean sugar with a little bit of coffee for flavor.” Alex teased. Jo just shrugged as she began to get several spoonful’s of sugar.
“So have you been home yet?” She asked Jo as she picked her cup up off the counter.
“No we came here first. Mom and Sis or probably still in bed.” Jo replied as she poured the coffee into her cup.
“Your sister misses you something fierce.” Mom replied taking a sip of her own cup.
“I heard she been spending a lot of time over here, I hope she hasn’t been to annoying.” Jo said taking a swig of her drink.
“Not at all, you know you two or always welcome here, besides she helps out a lot with the baby and I have been teaching her to cook.” Mom smiled.
“Bought time one of the Baker girls learns to cook considering the last name.” Alex teased looking at Jo, She just flipped him off as she drunk from her coffee.
“Okay children, no fighting.” Mom said laughing.
“He started it.” Jo said sounding like a little girl as she pointed at hm.
“You two care to join me in the living room, unless you want to go jump in shower.” His mom said as she pointed toward the living room.
“Sure.” He said. Alex said as he rubbed his eyes as he followed her and Jo into the living room.
“You look a little tired there Alex.” Mom said with a smile.
“Just a bit.” He shrugged.
“Someone insisted on driving all night.” Jo added.
“You can go lie down in your room for a bit if you want, or go jump in the shower.” She said as she set down. As she did her breast jiggled lightly from the motion.
