Lusi paused, seemingly having an internal debate with herself. You can tell that there is something she wants to say.
"Umm" she stammers "no, don't worry about it. It can wait" she blurts out before turning on her heels and leaves the office at a much quicker pace than when she entered it.
Shaking your head in a mixture of disbelief and amusement. Since you had met her you haven't seen her so uncomposed. She has previously always so sure and confident of herself, but not so far as arrogant.
"Oh well it can wait " you mutter to yourself before regarding the computer screen. "you on the other hand. We need to get you sorted......"
Several hours and multiple mugs of coffee later you punch the air in delight as you finally got your presentation completed. You had lost count on the number of times you had tweaked it to get it just right. You save and power down your computer. You remove the USB stick from the PC's console so you can review the presentation again on your laptop at home.
You grab your jacket from the back of the chair and turn the light in the office off as you go through the door. Clocking off time was a couple of hours ago, but you see a light coming from someone's cubicle. Curious you decide see who it is |
