Editor's Note: I have heard that Kingdom Hearts 3D has been included in the Kingdom Hearts series, therefore I will change this story a little bit to have this somewhat during the events of Kingdom Hearts 3D. And for potential writers, there will be moments when you can create your own adventure for the player character and Ventus, I will tell you guys when.
Ventus, distraught that you have an invite and that he doesn't, searches throughout the First District to find one for himself. Out of the many people he talked to, most of them didn't know that there was a party going on and out of the ones that did know, obviously would not give their invites to him. He then decides to visit the Second District to continue his search.
At the Second District, he then wonders to himself why he wants that invite. He does not need to know anything from the man in black, since that's your job. Perhaps he just wanted to go to that party for some action, or is it because he just wants to follow you wherever you go? Ventus wonders it while sitting on a bench next to a fountain. He then notices a man in black standing in the middle of the empty district, motioning him to come. Ventus, curious as to why the man in black wants him, acknowledges the sign and walks up to him, summoning his Keyblade in hand.
The man in black then gives Ventus a note. Ventus takes it, reading the following note:
We are please to note that Ventus has been invited to the party located in the Second District, in the lobby in the clock tower, at 10:00.
"Um, thanks?" says Ventus, unsure whether to thank him or ask him why the man in black gave him his very own invite.
The man in black replies nothing, but he snaps his fingers, and all of a sudden, a swarm of Heartless appear out of the ground. The man then disappears in a black portal.
