It's not hard to find the Jewelry Store, since there are big light-up letters identifying one of the store as a jewelry store, plus it's a pretty big store compared to the others. You and Ventus head inside, hoping Cid can answer some questions, maybe even something related to the man in black.
Before you enter, you notice a woman walking out. She seems to be pretty young, about her mid 20s, with long brown hair, green hairs, and a pretty face, wearing a dress that has the mix of red, white, and pink.
"Oh! Sorry!" she says, with somewhat of a giggle as you accidentally bump into her. She then walks away, with your eyes noticing her curves and her booty. If you found her at the party...
You and Ventus head inside, greeted by a somewhat big middle-aged man with blue eyes and wearing goggles on top of his head, with a toothpick hanging from his mouth. He is clearly wearing a white shirt that is too small for his size, a red card necklace and blue shorts.
"You must be Cid, right?" you ask.
"Hmm?" he replies, with some kind of southern accent. "Oh, you must be referring to me. Yep, the name's Cid."
"Do you know who is going to be at the party?" you ask.
"Perhaps I do, perhaps not? Why?" he wonders.
"I'm looking for someone there," you answer, trying not to give too much information.
"Well, if you're lookin' for someone there, you gotta have one of them invites," says Cid. "Luckily, I ain't gonna be using mine, since I'm gonna be working on my ship." He pulls out a white card with a heart from his pocket and opens it. He pulls out a pen and writes down:
"If Cid is not able to attend the party, the following person is able to use this card for his invite:"
He gives you the pen and tells you to write your name on it. You write it legibly.
"Is there one for me, too?" asks Ventus.
"Sorry, kid, but no," replies Cid, "I only got one invite. You're gonna need to find someone else who don't need his."
Ventus sighs, since he doesn't have an invite. You suggest him to wander around the town while you find them a place to stay for the night.
"If you're lookin' to spend the night, there's a hotel nearby. Don't remember the cost, but shouldn't be too expensive. Second District, shouldn't be too hard to find, plus it's near the ol' clock tower where the party'll be," says Cid.
You then thank him and seperate ways with Ventus for now, with you finding the hotel and Ventus finding an invite for himself.
