Although you and Ventus are not really on good terms much, it seems your differences have been set aside as you both cooperate really well together against Axel, with Ventus making quick hit-and-run attacks, while you fight cautiously through blocking Axel's discs while at the same time finding some chances to hit him. Eventually, Axel falls.
All three of you appear to be exhausted from that fight. Axel tries to get out some words while catching his breath. "Not...bad...for...a hero. Congrat...ulations for...passing...this test." He then throws you the card that he got from that other man that disappeared before the battle began.
You pick up the card and a picture surfaces. You see a picture of 3 certain places; a little town-like place with a big jewelry store, a fountain, and a gate. Before you look up to question Axel, all you see is a black blob disappearing.
You and Ventus then walk up to the door.
