Donovan circled around the block a few times, but didn't enjoy it as much as he thought he would. He was still trying to figure out what was happening around him. First Amarra an Elise leaving him alone one only his word. Then Rene not minding him seeing her naked and giving up the bathroom without a fight. Also his mom giving him a car, and The CAR itself. It seemed that anything he wanted simply went his way. But, how did it work? Was it his words? His thoughts? His emotions? He decided to head back home and take a nap. If he was dreaming falling asleep would wake him up... right?
When he got back to his home he found himself a little disappointed that the house was empty. "Nap it is," he thought. He laid down on his bed until he dosed off.
An hour later he awoke to sound of music coming from Rene's room. He could also hear the sound of the living room t.v., meaning Amarra and Elise were probably downstairs. From the smell of baked chicken, he guessed that his mom was in the kitchen.
"And now to test my theories," he thought. |
