You keep quiet as your mom walks up the stairs. She checks briefly in your room, but you are in such a position that she can't see you. Then she walks on by to her own room. You sigh, you don't know why you kept quiet, except maybe for reasons of guilt.
You decide to leave your room. You've thrown out thoughts of your mom's body for the time being and you really have nothing to do here. |
