Your team scores early on in the first half. You raise your arms in the air, cheering. You glance over at and see that she isn’t quite as happy. For the rest of the game, you and your sexy colleague sip beer as you insult one another’s teams and brag about how your own team will win. Neither team gets very close to scoring for a very long time. As the game enters its final minute, and you become more and more excited and confident about winning, and she grows more desperate, her teams scores.
Much to your disappointment and her delight the game ends on 1 - 1, and you and sulk and celebrate respectively for a while, before you both start to calm down as you realise that the match was a draw, and that neither of you won the bet. You both sit in silence for a bit, unsure of what to say. Eventually, breaks the silence.
“Well, it’d be a shame to just call it even and forget about the bet, wouldn’t it? So how about we both have a think tonight about how we can compromise. Does that sound good to you?” she asks.
“Sure,” you reply, unable to come up with a better solution.
“Alright then. See you tomorrow, .”
“Bye, .”
The first thing next morning, you go to ’s office to talk about a deal that’s fair to both you and her. You knock on her door, heart beating wildly. You wonder if it’s because you’re turned on or dreading what’s to come. |
