Lara Croft and the jungle of Biggo Cocko | bungakawa2011 | 2

Te be seen half-naked was the least of Lara's concerns: she had long steeled herself against lecherous looks. And to be honest, she dearly wished that the creature moving towards her was human. Beasts are unpredictable, and more often than not nasty and wicked in places such as this lush jungle, where both preys and predators thrive. In these places, weakness invariably leads to a swift death. Humans, on the other hand... Yeah, humans, she could handle. Both nicely and not so nicely, as the need arose.

She turned towards the source of the noise. This jungle was alien to her: she had no place to hide and no chance to outrun the creature, should it be hostile. Facing the threat was the best course of action.

A few seconds later, a large, peculiar... thing... brushed aside the dark green leaves of a gigantic fern and stepped into view, and for the first time in a long while, Lara found herself speechless. She had dreaded to meet a beast, and hoped to meet a human: it seemed like she had gotten half of her wish granted. What she was looking at now was human, or rather seemed human. It had a head much like a human, though its features were brutish, closer to that of a gorilla than to that of the men she had seen before. It walked on two legs, but its back was hunched, as if it wasn't totally accustomed to this position. It had hands and not paws, clearly, but once again, brutish, unrefined hands, with bulky fingers and thick leathery skin. Its body was hairy, not as much as that of an animal, but its hair were dark and much longer than that of the hairiest man she had ever seen.

It gawked at Lara with curiosity, though much to her surprise, its stare was aimed at her face, not at her gigantic breasts. It took a step towards her, as the English lady frantically tried to make up her mind. The strange creature (he? it?) must be intelligent, as he (it?) wore some kind of garment under his belly, concealing his sex, but she was concerned by the other proof of rudimentary intelligence he held into his left hand: a long stick, at the tip of which a pointy rock was affixed. As he shuffled ever closer to her, she realized how large a creature this was: though he walked hunched and made no effort to straighten itself, he remained almost two full heads taller than Lara, and seemed strong enough, by virtue of his size alone, to snap her in half with a single hand.

Hardly breathing, Lara stuck to the only decision she thought gave her a chance to live through this encounter: she remained as still as possible. Her mind raced: "A long lost native tribe? A forgotten Neanderthal? A whole new ape subspecies?" It was only when the man-beast got within reach of her that he seemed to notice those strange inflated bags of flesh the intruder sported on her chest. Staring stupidly, he reached out and groped one of them. Lara winced: his grip was as strong and as rough as could be expected. She looked down with a worried look: that creature's hand was disproportionately large, enough so that it could almost cup the entirety of her breast. But before she could better assess the danger of letting him fondle her, he pulled and twisted that half of her generous bosom. Lara let out a yelp of pain and futilely tried to take a step back.
"Hey, careful with that!" she barked angrily, staring right into the creature's beady eyes.

How will the man-beast respond to this strange angry intruder?
