The year my youngest daughter Karen turned 18 and finished high school, I decided to take all my children on a special summer vacation. My lovely bride of 29 years had passed away the summer before and it had put quite a strain on all of us. She had been the glue holding us together and I was determined not to let all her years of love and bonding slip away.
So when James and Laura, the two older siblings, arrived home for the college summer break, I announced to them that we would be spending six weeks at the 'Happy Hollow Family Encampment'. When I went on to explain the details, James was enthusiastic and Karen looked interested, but Laura's eyebrows were raised.
"You mean we will all be sharing the same one-room cabin, and naked together for a month and a half?"
I nodded. Laura had a thoughtful look for a moment, then she just shrugged and said, "Ok".
No one else objected after I told them how I felt about the closeness we seemed to have lost since their mother died, and how I thought this would bring us together.
"Your mother and I were nudists before you were born, but we set that aside to conform to society until you were of age. She and I agreed that we would introduce you to the lifestyle once you were all past 18, so this is my chance to honor her memory with you."
There wasn't a dry eye as we all shared a family hug. Laura gave me an extra hug, and told me how happy she was that we were going to be sharing so much time together.
I didn't reveal then, that the lifestyle their mom had introduced me to, included swinging and group sex. Better take things one step at a time I decided.
After a late night of packing, and seven hours on the road we arrived at the "Happy Hollow" gate. A young man checked us in and directed us to cabin 17.
