Since it is Saturday morning, you have 2 full days off. The water beckons you, and you heed its call. You quickly assemble what you will need for 2 days on the water.
Since the weather is beautiful, your select a small variety of clothes, mostly shorts and t-shirts. You do pack 2 sets of dress clothes, in case you pull into a harbor and walk into town. You make sure you have lots of sunscreen, as you plan to augment your mediocre tan.
You load the Corvette up, and are at the marina in 15 minutes flat. It takes 15 minutes to stow your gear and check out the boat. Luckily, you had it refueled after the last voyage and the tanks flushed and filled.
You check out with the harbormaster and are on your way for a 2 day journey. The weather is beautiful and you are piloting your craft, the sun streaming down on you. With plenty of sunscreen, you can feel the sun's warmth on your skin. You stop at lunch time, allowing the yacht to drift a bit, and have a good meal.
After you enjoy your fete, you locate your location on GPS. The wind and current hardly changed your location. As you take off down the coast, you see something a distance from you |
