You notice an icon flashing on your monitor. A program you wrote long ago for ESL is alerting you to a company e-mail.
Quickly accessing the e-mail, as you are in danger of being merely on-time for work instead of 30 minutes early, you see it is from your boss. Reading through it, you find he sent the e-mail through his phone as the power failed throughout downtown leaving the company dark. His directions for the day is to have fun, as there is nothing for you to do at the office.
