Tom decides that he wants no part of cleaning this mess up so he grabs some clothes out of his room and walks out the door. Tom stands in the alley for a bit, the bright sunlight making him squint a little.
Tom surveys the area trying to decide where he should go to pass the time so him roommates can clean up the mess without him coming back in the middle of the cleaning process.
He looks across the alley at the green house. He knows that three girls live there but he hasn't had a chance to meet them yet considering school had just started. Maybe now would be a good time, Tom has heard from a friend that they are kinda wild.
Tom then looks down the alley and across the street that runs perpendicular to the alley. He sees Kristi, a girl he knows from a few parties last year. She is talking on the phone and sitting on the steps of the apartment building where she lives. She has long blond hair and is dressed in short cutoff jean shorts and a tank top. Tom considers going over and talking to her.
Finally Tom looks the other way down the alley and sees two girls talking by a SUV. They are both standing in the driveway to the house and he assumes at least one of them lives there. He thinks he recognizes the redhead who is on the right be he isn't sure.
