You speed down the empty hall way in a quick walk, looking around to make sure you are unseen. Fortunately it is the lunch hour and most of the students are in either the cafeteria or have gone off campus to eat. You peek around the next corner to see if the coast is clear. You spot two guys heading out towards the gym for a game of basketball. You back your way into the closest room, hoping that no one is inside. Not taking your eyes off the hallway where the two jocks are walking through, you close the door.
Now you take in the scenery inside the room. You have backed your way into a washroom. Judging from the pink wallpaper, it is the girl's washroom. You shake your head at the thought of being caught in a towel inside the girl's washroom. You can only think of the scandal story that the school newspaper would be running, fortunately that won't come true, unless you actually do get caught.
You take a peek outside again and find the hallways clear once again. You begin to make your way outside, but stop once you hear voices behind you. One is Lynn, who sounds like she's making a plea.
"C'mon! You've got to help me! Look at me!" You peek your head around the corner and see Lynn, wearing a towel much like your own. "Just lend me a shirt and a skirt, I'll even take your gym clothes! I can't go walking around school naked!"
So, Lynn doesn't have the pendant after all...
"Lynn" you whisper before remembering that you're still in the girl's washroom with only a towel on. |
